About Us

Rotary Club of Delhi Regency was chartered on 10.08.1995 as part of District 3010, upon bifurcation of District 3011 the club became part of District 3011 during the year 2015-16.

Our club has been among the top ten clubs of the District and has undertaken a major community project with Venu Eye Institute Research Centre during the year 2002 by setting an Eye Bank in collaboration with Rotary District 7620, Mount Airy USA and International federations of Eye and Tissue Banks, Mary Land, of U.S.A under Rotary Foundation Global Grant. The club has been aggressively involved since its inception for eradication of Polio from India.

The club has setup an eye cataract theatre for free operations of rural community at a cost of US dollar 72,000 at New Delhi with the financial support of Rotary Foundation.

The club had also set up Geriatric Rejuvenation centre first time in New Delhi, managed by Dr AB Dey (Ex head of geriatric department of AIIMS) at a total cost of US dollars 32,000 contributed by Mohit- Mudit Memorial Trust of Rtn Dalip Daga, Chief Patten of our club and other Members.
